Definition and photo from wikipedia.....Angels are messengers of God in the Hebrew Bible. The term "angel" has also been expanded to various notions of "spiritual beings" found in many other religious traditions. Other roles of angels include protecting and guiding human beings.

A great word for this "challenge" Cindy has given us. There are many interesting books out there concerning angel encounters. God does send his messengers to help us when we need help.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great favorite word! One of my favorite type of books to read are true stories of people who have had near-death experiences and have seen Jesus and angels. It is fascinating! It is also fascinating to think that there are angels all around us all the time, even though we can't see them. And they are more real than we are!
As a side note, one of the most fascinating things I learned from those near-death experiences, is that when someone dies, they often don't know it, because it's just like walking into the next room. So many people fear death, but Jesus promised to be with us... there's no reason to fear the unknown when you know Who is there! I find that very fascinating!
