Where's the Beach?

I wanted to make a card for Michelle Perkett Studio Blog challenge-Lets go to the beach and For Fun Challenge.  Both have beach theme this week.  I used a free image from MPS colored with copics and prismacolor pencils, alot of sewing and a little love (just checking to see if anyone is reading) is how I made this card:

    Of course I'm reading. Do you sew paper on a sewing machine or by hand? I've thought of trying to sew paper because I hate glue, just a thing I have.
