Bargains from Ross

I just wanted to share the photos of my bargains from Ross since my blog friend, Trish asked.  The rug is actually a very good size and the shower curtain is fabric (I only like fabric ones :) )  The shower curtain is a pale blue pattern with cream in it, the rug is several shades of cream in it.

Here is something I want to share that was posted at The Well called How Bright is My Light?  I think Heather at Heathersblog-o-rama shared this site with me and her followers.
Here’s the Message Bible verses 14-16:

Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

The Well is having a linky to see who wants to memorize it. I think I may join in.  May your day be filled with happiness.

Its My Birthday

I use to day dream of castles and fairytales. Well, maybe I still day dream about those things. Every year gets harder, where has the time gone. What did I do to make a difference or what can I do to make a difference. For now, I just want to continue tell those who do not know God, try and make time to know God. Read the bible or listen to the bible online and pray. Sometimes, it may seem like God doesn't hear our prayers but just believe and have faith, He does.
Matthew 19:26 (New King James Version)
26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Happy Birthday to me and to you Have a wonderful week.

My tag for Tuesday Taggers

This week the theme is: Ours Is A Nice House Ours Is!This week we are sponsored by our friends at The Craft Barn

This is my tag, The Lords House (I dont remember the name of the church but it is beautiful) in Charleston, South CarolinaThis is my first try at trying to make a photo look like stained glass. I cant wait to see all the other Tuesday Taggers.
On another note,
I got a little caught up in entering challenges and forgot my main focus. My main focus is the Lord and I want everyone to know and those who dont know him I want them to just reach out and try to get to know him. I just want my visitors to know they can email me for prayer requests, please dont hesitate to email me, I will put you on my prayer list.
I am reminded of this verse today: Psalm 23:6 (New International Version)

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Of all the time I spent not knowing the Lord, unfortunately, that time is gone. A lady at my church says you just missed some blessings but be glad that you know him now.
So dont miss your blessings.
Have a great day.

Something Beautiful Mondays Link Party

Something Beautiful I never thought this would be so difficult for me to decide what to post. It is difficult because there are so many beautiful things in the world. It made me realize that i need to thank God for the many beautiful things each day. I hope this post will remind you to see the beautiful things in life.

Nancy, at The Trinket Collector participated in our set challenge at PBS Swappers (Please come join us, alot of us are new however there are many experienced paper crafters too) Nancy posted this wonderful creative box and tag set. Then, she surprised me -- she sent it to me. The little box was full of goodies too :) Its a mini box, with a mini dominoe and mini goodies inside. I dont know how long you have been visiting me but I love mini stuff. So a big thank you to Nancy.

Today I want to share this verse:
Mark 12:31 (New International Version)
31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

Where do you get your INSPIRATION?

This mini card I made to share today because of the heart and crown on the card. My heart belongs to the King of kings, Our Lord.

So Many Scraps blog is a lovely place to visit. She asks what inspires you? What a good question. I am inspired by God to share his word on blog, my crafts are inspired by things: I love God, my family, roses, angels and so many wonderful blogs you all have. Everyone who comments or signs up to follow I try and go and visit you too the same day. I am inspired by your blogs or sometimes a combination of all your ideas inspires me to make something. So, all of you are my inspiration. The verse I want to share:
1 Timothy 6:12-16 (New International Version)
12Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you 14to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

Have a Happy Saturday. I hope this inspires you in some way.
Living in God's Graces,
Kim

Happy Friday to All My Friends -Linking to Card Scraps August Challenge

Share (as shown on this card I made using a new die cut)can apply to so many things. When we are little we learn to share toys and share our things with others. We can share good times and bad times with our friends and family. But the best thing we can share is God's Word and God's Love.
So remember......
John 3:16 (New King James Version)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

LOOK, Speaking of sharing, Look at what I won from Francine at Harps in the Willows
Aren't they so beautiful. I just love them. They inspire me to make more and more tags. Thank you so much, Francine.
Also, I am linking up to Cindys Collection Link party, at I Owe it All to Him. I just started collected pink rose decor items. It has brighten up the whole living room. First, a beautiful painting found at the local antique mall.

Angels Tag with Vintage Image

Do you ever wish that an angel could just reach out and guide us. Like this angel, reaching out to the two sleeping boys. I have two boys (22,12) and I know I wish that sometimes for myself and wish it for my boys too.
It just makes me happy to know that God can do this for us if we only reach out to Him. Verse for the day:
Isaiah 42:16 (New King James Version)
16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know;
I will lead them in paths they have not known.
I will make darkness light before them,
And crooked places straight.
These things I will do for them,
And not forsake them.

I made this tag, add a little stickles on the wings and added a raised image of the angel on top. Have a wonderful day.

Tag Tuesday Weekly Challenge--No Paper

Quilted Flannel Fabric Tag. I love flannel; it just says warm and cozy.
Hope everyone is having a great tuesday. The verse of the day is
Psalm 37:23 (King James Version)
23The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Many of us probably go a long time before realizing this. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Pause and think about.
Living in God's Graces,
Kim
P.S. Thanks so much for dropping by. I love hearing from you and making new friends.

I won a giveaway!!! Hurray !!!

Cindy, from I owe it all to him, gave this away and I am the lucky winner.
This is the first giveaway I have won in blogland.
I am just so very excited and keep looking around the house trying to decide where to put it. Cindy is also having a show your creative spirit tomorrow so don't forget to stop by and see what I post for showing my creative spirit.

I just started blogging about a 27 posts ago. I am meeting some wonderful ladies. I never realized how many friends you could meet through blogland. Thinking of that reminds me of this:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NIV
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up.
