Hi!   Just another card for our Christmas in July Special.

  It's a lot of fun for me to complete Christmas cards in July.  I am very excited, feeling accomplished.  

Today the card I have for you is    one that has a vintage look to it. 

Its so much much fun going to the Christmas tree farms, picking out your tree, cutting it down and taking it home.  Oh what fun!!

Always back to vintage

Hello there!!

I try different styles and types of cards however I always return to vintage.  I love the vintage look of things of times past.  Crafty Secrets always has a few freebies and I chose this angel (intended for a easter image) and turned into a sweet vintage Christmas card.  I am linking this to their December Challenge.   (the little pink roses are paper I made and there is just a hint of pink fibers around them.)

Vintage Tag

A distressed tag with vintage image, lace, paperflower and a sprinkle of sunshine.  I went to several yard sales this morning.  I found about 8 books, newer ones for 50 cents each.  However no one had any craft supplies.  What?!  I think there are alot of new mothers in this area at least according to what they have for sale in the yard sales.  Anyhow, I was very pleased with my purchases.  I hope you did something fun on this lovely Saturday.

Angels Tag with Vintage Image

Do you ever wish that an angel could just reach out and guide us. Like this angel, reaching out to the two sleeping boys. I have two boys (22,12) and I know I wish that sometimes for myself and wish it for my boys too.
It just makes me happy to know that God can do this for us if we only reach out to Him. Verse for the day:
Isaiah 42:16 (New King James Version)
16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know;
I will lead them in paths they have not known.
I will make darkness light before them,
And crooked places straight.
These things I will do for them,
And not forsake them.
