A little holiday magic.

I have a card for you today where I used the northern lights technique.  Its a great fun and easy technique that looks different every time.  I created a little Christmas Eve scene.   I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season.  Have a wonderful day!

Hello Everyone!!!

How are you?  I am enjoying this wonderful fall weather!   I used a great technique called crayon resist.  I have decided to try techniques. I loved it.  I used a white crayon after stamping the flower image then sponged several inks over the area.  I really like the way it came out.  

Stamps I used from Just for Fun are:  Large Cornflower and sentiment Friends are .

I used fall colored designer papers, cardstock and ribbons.  Have a wonderful day.

Fall Leaves

Today, I have a card I created using the Just for Fun rubber stamp:  stamptangle elm leaf.   I stamped a pile of leaves using a green stamp pad.  Next I decided to highlight them with metallic water colors, then I used markers, pencils and gems to complete the leaves.  I made a couple of paper flowers and sewed the edges.  Have a beautiful day!! Lets Talk

Hello there!!!

How are you all today?  I created this CAS card. 

 Don't you love this new Just for Fun Stamptangle House Wren bird stamp? 

 One of my new favorites.   I thought the sentiment Lets Talk was appropriate

 because he just looks like he is ready to say something.  

I used the distressed inks on the edges. 

 I used colored pencils and markers on the wings and beak.  

Find that special someone, give them a call and talk (maybe about rubber stamping-L.O.L.)

I bring you another Christmas card today as Just for Fun Stamps celebrates Christmas in July.

I layered many pieces including burlap then took the stamped image colored the background and stamped another image and took the bird and popped him off the card.

Just for Fun Rubber Stamps Yule Moose  stamp was used to create this card.  The background is gold foil polka dots.  I used pencils, markers and stickles to create the card.

Cupid.. Real or not?

I have always loved cupid!  So who was Cupid....

Cupid, one of the gods in Roman mythology that controls love. He is the Roman counterpart to the Greek god Eros. His name comes from the Latin word cupido, which translates to “passion, desire, yearning, wanting, or longing.” However, in Latin, Cupid is known as Amor. The Latin word means “love, infatuation, or passion.”

Regardless of your belief in cupid, you have to agree he is adorable!
Are you getting excited about Valentines day?? I am only excited because I love all the cute decor out in the stores and all the hearts !!

Stampfest...

Hello!!! 

 I have for you today a St Patricks Day Card.  Not your typical one but one using a large green sparkly heart. Using green sparkle embossing powder, I embossed this large heart from the Romantic Sheet from Just for Fun Rubber Stamps. Then I added tiny gems to the center of the designs in center, a simple paper bow and computer generated sentiment.
